Creating a Project

Projects in SupaBook represent work you're doing for clients. Track progress, files, and communications in one place.

  1. Go to Projects/Pipeline

Click 'Projects' in the sidebar to open the pipeline view.

  2. Click New Project

Click the '+ New Project' button to start.

  3. Fill in project details

Enter project name, select the client, set dates, and add a description.

  4. Set project type and value

Choose the project type and enter the project value for revenue tracking.

  5. Save and add a contact

Save the project, then create a contact or search existing clients by person, organization, or email. When you select an organization, choose one or more of its contacts or use Select all. The organization stays linked as the project client, and only the selected people become project contacts who can receive Smart Files sent to project contacts. Contacts without email addresses remain visible but cannot be selected. Selecting a person who belongs to an organization links their organization while keeping the person as the contact. If the project is Unassigned, the first real client becomes primary automatically.

Tips

  • Link projects to leads to track conversion source
  • Use project templates for similar recurring projects
