Build a Video Production Estimate and Proposal
Describe the project, build costs phase by phase, then save three proposal options

From Project Brief to Client-Ready Options
The Video Production Rate Calculator starts with the project brief, uses the stated production needs to shape recommendations, and gives clients a guided scope while professionals retain detailed rate controls.
Describe the project
Choose professional or client planning mode, then describe the outcome, audience, deliverables, and important production needs. No price appears until the brief has enough detail.
Review planning and crew
Review what the builder identified in the brief. Client mode shows typical hours, costs, and recommended crew counts. The running estimate updates as each phase is completed.
Choose what the production needs
In client mode, uncheck work your team will handle and use the sliders to adjust shoot days, locations, interviews, and recommended crew counts. In professional mode, choose day or hourly crew rates and edit the detailed inputs.
Add post-production and travel
Enter editing, finishing, versions, captions, music, add-ons, mileage, travel labor, lodging, per diem, airfare, and a usage-rights allowance.
Compare the three options
Review Lean, Recommended, and Full Coverage scopes. Each option changes production coverage, not only the price.
Build and review the proposal
Select Save these options and build a proposal. SupaBook creates a Smart File draft with the three options and a payment page. Add the client and confirm every assumption before publishing or sending.
Tips
- The temporary browser result expires after seven days and is removed once the proposal is created
- Nothing is sent automatically from the calculator
- Confirm current local crew, rental, talent, travel, music, and usage-rights quotes
- Use the Video Licensing Calculator when the client needs a detailed rights estimate
