Build reusable templates for any document type

Using the Template Builder

Create professional document templates with the drag-and-drop builder, or turn an existing client proposal into a reusable template.

  1. Go to Templates

Navigate to Templates in the sidebar.

  2. Click New Template

Start with a blank template or choose a preset.

  3. Add content blocks

Add text, images, form fields, and more.

  4. Configure settings

Set permissions, branding, and notification options.

  5. Save template

Save and your template is ready to use.

  6. Reuse an existing proposal

Open a client Super File, select Save as template, name the copy, and save it to My Templates. The client, project, public link, delivery history, responses, signatures, and payments are not copied.

  7. Review the print layout

Use Print Preview to confirm page breaks. Block styling and shape dividers are preserved, and invoice service pricing stays aligned with the invoice columns.

  8. Style text inside columns

Select a text element inside a Layout or Flexible Section column, then use its rich-text toolbar. Font, color, emphasis, alignment, and spacing remain attached to that text element when saved.

  9. Copy blocks between windows

Select a block and choose Copy block. In another open Super File window for the same studio, choose Paste block. The newest copied block is used even when both windows were already open.

  10. Save video gallery presets

Open a Video Gallery block, arrange its videos and categories, then choose Save preset. Save it for the current client or everyone in the studio. Choose a saved preset and Load to replace the current gallery after confirmation.

Tips

  • Group related questions in sections for better organization
  • Use conditional logic to show/hide sections based on answers
  • Review a proposal-derived template and replace any client-specific wording before using it for another client
